The university has a variety of housing programs to address the high cost of owning a home in the area. The various housing options are each distinct and intentionally designed to offer a variety of options to meet the individual needs of eligible faculty. These programs create a menu of choices for eligible faculty where each faculty member can tailor their housing to their specific needs relating to the stage of their career, compensation levels, and individual housing preferences, such as, proximity to campus versus a longer commute, market price with market appreciation versus discounted price with appreciation cap, etc.
