The Office of the Provost, Faculty Staff Housing (FSH) continues to offer on- and off-campus ground-leased homes for purchase via Lottery and Direct Sale in the 2018-19 academic year. FSH anticipates that the homes will continue to be a mixture of condominium and single-family residences, new construction, recently refurbished, and redevelopment opportunities. Additionally, we anticipate that the lottery homes will continue to vary in floor plan size and location within the surrounding communities of Stanford, Palo Alto, Los Altos, and Menlo Park.

The Lottery sales will be conducted by random-number drawing (lottery). All faculty eligible to purchase a home must complete and submit an Interest List Application to participate in each lottery. Faculty couples with dual eligibility may apply individually. All participants will be notified after the Interest List Application has been submitted and will receive a unique identifier. Submission of an Interest List Application is neither a guarantee of eligibility nor qualification to purchase. No priority will be given based on the timing of the submission. FSH will verify all submissions and eligible participants will be notified when the application has been accepted. Applicants may withdraw from consideration prior to the lottery. To withdraw from consideration, contact FSH by email to fshousing@stanford.edu. No withdrawal requests will be accepted by telephone.

Eligible Faculty may register for more than one lottery, however Eligible Faculty who have a reservation or a contract on a single-family home in one FSH Housing Lottery are no longer eligible to participate in another FSH Housing Lottery.  This does not apply to those who have a reservation or a contract on a condominium home.
